Jennifer Barnett Collins, age 53, of Trussville, died peacefully in her sleep at home with her family. She was preceded in death by her father, Don Barnett. She is survived by her husband, Cade Collins; their two children, Mackenzie and Walker; Atticus and Barnaby; her parents, Tommy and Margaret Watkins; her sister, Nicole Malone; her brother, Jeremy (Courtney) Barnett; her aunt, Janice Gallagher; her aunt, Pam Gafnea; her mother-in-law, Patricia Collins; and her nieces and nephews, Brayden, Haven, Levi, and Lexi. She worked at Deltacom for several years, working her way up from Reception to Dispatch to Project Coordinator and Technical Consultant, later working at Compass Bank as a Project Manager while raising two wonderful children.
She was a wife, a mother, a sister, a daughter, a room mom, a baseball mom, and an artist.
She was the rock around which a family was built.
The world is a little less magical without her.
A celebration of life will be held at Ridout's Trussville Chapel on Friday, January 3rd, at 2 PM.
Friends may visit with the family from 1-2 PM prior to the celebration.
