LUCAS, JERRY JACKSON “PEPAW”, age 75 of Birmingham, it is with great sadness that we are forced to announce the passing of our Dad on January 22, 2017. He was an avid Alabama fan and a lover of a good book. He was preceded in death by his wife, Paula Faye Lucas; sisters, Mary Ellen and Jackie; and brothers, Dixie and Mike. He is survived by his children, Tracy Moon (Mike), Amy Smith (Steve), Joy Ann Marsh (Richard), Chris Lucas (Sherry), and Jennifer Lucas; brother, George Lucas; step-children, Kim Gaut and Greg Campbell; grandchildren, Oriana Moon, Sahara Moon, Lucas Moon, Stella Smith, Mattie Smith, Melisa Campbell and Jessica Gaut; great-grandchildren, Elly May and Amberly; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Pepaw was the best Dad and will be greatly missed. One more time for the road Daddy, this is not goodbye love, love, love you. His family will receive friends on Thursday, January 26, 2017 from 10-11 AM at Ridout’s Trussville Chapel with his service beginning at 11 AM. Burial will follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens.
