Beloved Mother Jewel Elizabeth Monk Wilson, age 90, went home with the Lord on October 9, 2015 after a long, valiant battle against colon cancer.
She is survived by her devoted daughter Dr. Lisa Anne Wilson and son William Corbett Wilson III, along with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
All who knew this precious, faithful, kind, tenderhearted, humble and compassionate soul love and miss her dearly. She is the wind beneath our wings – lifting us up and inspiring our lives.
