MONAGHAN, JIMMY, age 72, of Branchville, passed away Saturday, November 13, 2010. He was preceded in death by his parents, John Foster and Johnnie Carl Monaghan. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Kathy Monaghan; daughters, Cindy Holcomb (Jimmy) and Amy Williams (Mike); grandchildren, Justin Holcomb, John Foster Holcomb, Carley Williams, Sam Thomas Holcomb, and Brody Williams; sister, Janice Boyd; aunts, Eva Monaghan and Garrell Monaghan. Jimmy was a longtime owner of Southern Gun Warehouse, an avid sportsman, and member of Moody First Baptist Church. His family will receive friends on Tuesday, November 16, 2010 from 5-7 PM at Ridout's Trussville Chapel. His service will be at the chapel on Wednesday, November 17, 2010 beginning at 11 AM. Burial will follow at Holly Pond Cemetery.
