Joseph C Spencer Jr., age 79, of Birmingham, Alabama passed away on Thursday, April 6, 2023. Joe is preceded in death by his parents, Mr and Mrs Joseph C. Spencer Sr. Joe is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Joyce M Spencer; his sons, Scott Spencer (Christy) and Chris Spencer (Terri). Joe is survived by his grandchildren; Matthew, Cooper, Alex and Courtney. Joe is also survived by numerous sister in laws, brother in laws, nieces and nephews. Joe also leaves behind Michael, Walter and Ronnie Bennett who were all like sons to Joe. A visitation for Joe will be held Monday, April 10, 2023 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Ridout's Trussville Chapel, 1500 Gadsden Hwy, Birmingham, AL 35235, followed by a funeral service beginning at 1:00 PM. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery.
