Bates, Joyce Ann Tyler age 78 of Childersburg, AL passed away on Sunday, September 1, 2013. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Ray and Elizabeth Tyler; husband, Thomas Clay Bates and grandson, Jeremy Ray Ezell.
She is survived by her daughters Deborah Ann (David) Ezell, Patricia Gail (Sam) Baird and Carol Denise Peoples, six grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Graveside service will be Wednesday September 4, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. at Elmwood Cemetery with Ridout’s Trussville Chapel directing. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening September 3, 2013 at Ridout’s Trussville Chapel from 6 until 8 P.M.
