Judy Marona Clements

Judy Marona Clements, 76, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, November 8, 2020. She was born on May 21, 1944. She was preceded in death by her father,Charles Howard "Pat" Marona and mother, Dorothy Robison Marona. She is survived by her husband, Harold, daughter, Jaime (Wes) Jackson, and grandchildren, Riley Grace, Brody Ray and Colby James Jackson. Judy graduated from Ensley High School before going to the University of Alabama. She graduated with a major in Home Economics. She went on to get her Masters Degree in Early Childhood Development. Upon graduation, she went to teach school in Tifton, GA and in Huntsville, AL., before returning to Birmingham to work for United Way. It was on September 3, 1976, Judy and Harold married, and on March 15, 1978, they welcomed Jaime into the family. In 1984, Judy returned to teaching Home Economics at Hewitt Trussville High School, and remained there until retirement in 2005. Judy enjoyed traveling and cruises with Harold in her retirement. Judy continued to teach, but now it was Sunday School. She loved her church family at Central Baptist Church in Argo, AL. A public visitation will be held on Friday, November 13, 2020 from 10:00am-11:00am at Central Baptist Church located at 8762 Gadsden Hwy, Trussville, AL. 35173 with a Celebration of Life Service to follow at 11:00am. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery. Pastor Dewey Corder will be officiating. John Ridout's Elmwood Chapel will be directing.
