Judith Rogers Dolan passed away on January 14th, 2018 at the age of 86. She was born in Louisville, KY on October 18, 1931 to Eleanor and Howard Rogers. She is survived by her husband of 62 years Harry Leo Dolan; her children Margaret Rietschlin (Nicholas), Patrick Dolan (Pam Sanders), Thomas Dolan (Judy), James Dolan (Betsy), Mary Mirgon (Jeff), and John Dolan (Cindy); her 14 grandchildren; 6 great-grand children; her brother John Rogers (Suzie), sister Harriet Dentinger (Richard), and many other relatives and friends. She graduated from Nazareth College in Louisville, KY with a B.S. in Chemistry. She enjoyed spending time with and cooking for her large, boisterous family. Judy was an avid reader who enjoyed visits to the Birmingham Library. She was a master gardener, loved the arts, and enjoyed discussing politics. A funeral Mass will be held in her memory on Tuesday January 16th at 11am at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Birmingham Public Library.
