Justin Duane Pettis

He attended Clay Chalkville High School. Justin married Jennifer on June 3, 2017. He loved to go running, hiking, fishing, and cycling. He was an avid coin collector. Justin loved his family and his children. His favorite trip was his journey to California on his bike. Justin will be remembered for his beautiful smile, his handsome blue eyes and his very sensitive heart.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Phillip Bannin and Aunt, Patricia Bish.

He is survived by his wife, Jennifer Pettis; daughter, Mackenzie Pettis; son, Jake Pettis; step- daughter, Lilli Haynes; mother, Sandra Smith (Randall Smith); father, Lavon Pettis (Brenda Pettis); sisters, Lauren Pettis and Chelsey Pettis; step- sister, Bentlee Smith; uncles, Steve Pettis (Regina), Edward Bish (Beth), David Bish, Thomas Bannin; grandparents, Louie and Earline Pettis and Elizabeth Bannin and fur baby, Lucy.

Family will receive friends Friday Nov. 17, 2017 at Ridout's Trussville Chapel from 1:00 - 2:00 PM. Funeral service will follow at 2 PM. Interment will be at Jefferson Memorial Gardens.
