She is survived by her daughter, Dee Ann Horst (Marty); son, Eddie Higgins; her brother, David Edwards (Tammi); aunt, Imogene Brown; grandchildren, Parke Smith, Alexis Alexander, and Zena Jewel Hensely and a host of cousins, nieces and nephews. Her family will receive friends Friday July 28, 2017 from 5:00 - 7:00 PM at Ridout's Trussville Chapel. A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday July 29, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Ridout's Trussville Chapel. Interment will be at Forest Crest Cemetery.
