KNIGHTON, LARRY, age 84 of Trussville, passed away Sunday, October 24, 2021. Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Georgia and Edward Knighton; brother, Bobby; wife, Barbara; and his son, David. He is survived by his grandson, Lucas Knighton; adoptive family, Alan, Anita, Justin and Brianna Tidwell; and cousins, Janice and Harold McNeff and Chris and Lea Cox; and a host of family and friends. Larry was a master mechanic for Mercury Outboard Motors, he was a great fisherman, he enjoyed sharing his love of model trains with his grandson, he was a member of Alabama Historical Radio Society and enjoyed refurbishing radios from the 1920’s – 1940’s, and he volunteered at a number of nursing homes before Covid. There will be a graveside service on Friday, October 29, 2021 at Forest Hill Cemetery beginning at 2:00.
