Larry Curtis Thrasher, age 74 of Birmingham passed away Monday, December 6, 2021. He attended Minor Heights Baptist Church and worked in Security for many years. Larry was a Corporal serving four years in the USMC and two years in the Army Reserve.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Curtis Leon and Birdie Thrasher. Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Gail S. Thrasher; daughter, Beth Halbert (Alan); son Larry Curtis Thrasher, Jr.; grandchildren: Alan and Andrew Halbert; sister, Glenda Ann Weeks and nephew Jay Weeks.
His graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, December 12, 2021 at Elmwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.
