He was preceded in death by his first wife, Juanita Jones and is survived by their children, Linda Dianne Jones, George Lawrence Jones (Terri) and Craig Ross Jones; 3 grandchildren, Matt, Leia and Emily; 3 great grandchildren, Trace, Jacob and Braxton. He is also survived by his wife of the last 16 years, Barbara Jones and her children, Jackie Trice, Vickie Sanders and John Cooper; his sisters, Ardelle Turner and Audrey McGowan.
A celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, September 1st at Ridout’s Trussville Chapel. Burial will follow in Sunrise Memorial Gardens in Pinson. Visitation will also be on Tuesday, from 12:30 until 2:00.
