Linda Gail Holt

Linda Gail Holt, age 82 of Woodstock, GA passed away on March 22, 2026. She was a Native of Opelika, AL and grew up in Birmingham, AL where she attended Woodlawn High School. She was a long-time member of Fiftieth Street Baptist Church of Birmingham and later became a member of Ridgecrest Baptist Church. She was a retired custodian of Bascomb Elementary School in Woodstock, GA.

Gail was preceded in death by her loving husband of 37 years, Ted Rogers Holt; one son, Robert Douglas Holt; her parents, Luther and Hazel Russell Lovell; her two siblings, Ronald Lovell (Jeannie) and Sandra Holbrook (William).

She is survived by her children, Pamela K. Yoder (Ura) and Ted Darwin Holt; two grandchildren, Monica Keheley (Jack) and Matthew Yoder (Andrea); four great grandchildren, Hannah Kate, Leah, Maggie, and Dawson; her sister, Patricia Morris. Gail is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews and extended family.

A funeral service for Linda will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, March 27th at Ridout’s Trussville Chapel. Family and friends will gather one hour prior to the service. A committal service will follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens East in Trussville. Brother Johnny Kilgore will preside over the service.

Pallbearers will Ura Yoder, Matthew Yoder, Jack Keheley, Jeff Lovell, Keith Morris, and Jeff Russell.
