Linda K. Nail

NAIL, LINDA K., age 70 of Pinson, joined the Heavenly Choir praising God on Wednesday, August 4, 2021. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert F. Nail, Jr.; and parents, Edith and Curtis P. King. She is survived by her sister, Peggy Hudson; niece, Debra Trammell (Mike); nephew, Douglas A. Mathias (Sally); great nieces and nephews, Hunter Trammell, Megan Mathias, Mallory Mathias and Mason Mathias; her family in love, Carl Chamblee , Jr. (Karen); their children and grandchildren, Marlee Chamblee, Madison Chamblee, Toby Rutherford, Troy Rutherford (Misty), Lane Rutherford and Ava Rutherford; and several cousins. Linda was baptized at New Oak Grove Freewill Baptist Church in Nauvoo, AL and graduated from Carbon Hill High School. She then went to Walker College and sang in the choir for two years. Linda began her career at Mayer Electric and after 15 years she moved to the Jefferson County Inspection Services where she recently retired after 31 years. She was a longtime member of Clearview Baptist Church where she served many roles but her favorite was taking care of children and she was affectionately known as MawMaw. Her family will celebrate her life with visitation on Saturday, August 7, 2021 from 2-3 PM at Ridout’s Trussville Chapel with her service beginning at 3:00. Burial will follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens.
