Lola's love for her 3 daughters expanded through the years to include 8 grandchildren who loved her so; all were her favorite, but only one was her “very favorite “, her boy “Jason”. She was blessed to be great grandmother to 8.

Lola, leaves behind her daughters, Diane S. Bell, Helena, AL , Paula Stephens, Snoqualmie, Wa., Terry S. Johnson (Steve) Alabaster, AL.; grandchildren, Jason Crawford, Andrea Mertens, Lacey Crawford, Snoqualmie, Wa. , Lori Stovall (Keith) Alabaster, AL, Heather Bell-Lawing (Jason) Helena, AL, Katy Johnson, Tyler Johnson & Parker Johnson (Miranda) Alabaster, AL.

Brother James Wyrosdick (Sharon) Knoxville, TN., and so many beloved family members.

She is proceeded in death by her husband, Paul J. Stephens of 70 years. Also, her brother Dennis Wyrosdick (Sue) Alabaster. Our mother and daddy resided in Indian Springs, AL., until 2018, when our daddy was called home. Mother lived the last 7 years in Alabaster with her daughter Terry and family. Her granddaughter, Katy gave her and her “Papaw” such incredible care for many years.

A graveside service will be held at Elmwood Cemetery ,Sunday December 28, 2025, 1:00 PM. Reverend Tim Trimble officiating.

The family suggests in lieu of flowers that donations can be made to Aaron Staff Respite Care (a non profit organization that provides respite for parents that have special needs children/adults) 2698 County Road 58-Helena, AL 35080.
