Lynn, age 68, passed away suddenly on Thursday. Originally from Mississippi, she graduated from the University of Alabama with a Master's degree in Audiology. She worked as an audiologist at the Birmingham VA medical center for 38 years. She was an active member of Dawson Memorial Baptist Church, where she taught children and adults with special needs. Lynn is survived by her daughter, Kristen Arnold, and grandson, Andrés. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 1st, 2016 from 1:00 to 2:00 pm at Ridout’s Elmwood Chapel with a chapel service following at 2:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Birmingham Humane Society or Dawson Memorial Baptist Church – Special Needs Programs.
