Marjolyn Murdock McLellan, Vestavia, went to be with her Jesus on Jan. 8, 2015 & was preceded in death by her husband, John McLellan, her parents Herman & Maude Murdock & her brothers, Coleman, George & Herman Murdock. Born Jan. 5, 1924 in Wylam, she is survived by her children, George McLellan (Diane) of Palm City, Fl., & Denise Phillips (John) of Vestavia; grandchildren Shannon Mason, Kate Hudson, John, Jr. & Hunter Phillips, Ryan & Angel McLellan, & Kelly Swigler; 9 great grandchildren; brother-in-law Hubert McLellan (Jean) of Marietta, Ga.; & nieces & nephews. An accomplished pianist &vocalist, she served at Wylam Baptist, Ensley Baptist & Green Valley Baptist.
