TIDMORE, MAVIS M., age 86, of Pinson, passed away Saturday, July 23, 2011. She was preceded in death by her husband, W.S. “Bill” Tidmore. She is survived by her daughter, Cynthia McMichael (Glenn); sister, Lois Morton; grandchildren, Robert Warr (Shannon), Michelle Bates and Holleigh Piersol (Jeremy); great-grandchildren, Brandon Warr, Danielle Warr, Dylan Warr, Nicholas Bates, Lance Bates, Alyssa Bates, Nathan Lessley, Kelsey Piersol and Jackson Piersol; and several nieces and nephews. Mavis was a very Christian lady and a member of Palmerdale United Methodist Church. She retired from South Central Bell after 42 years. Her family will receive friends on Monday, July 25, 2011 from 5-7 PM at Ridout’s Trussville Chapel. Her service will be at the chapel on Tuesday, July 26, 2011 beginning at 2 PM. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery.
