Michael Sullivan was born to William and Beverly in New York and moved to Birmingham at 6 years old. He met his wife Cathi when he was 16 and she was 15. They knew then that they would be together forever. Married in 1991 at 19 and 18, Mike and Cathi raised two beautiful children, Joshua and Melanie in the Catholic Faith. He has one granddaughter, Lucy Kate, who has been the apple of his eye since she was born.
Mike had an impressive 30 year career at Alabama Power. He served his community as a Grand Knight for the Knights of Columbus at St. Barnabas Church, and is now a member of Holy Infant of Prague in Trussville. Mike loved God, his family, and his friends. He enjoyed gardening, kayaking, fishing, and anything on the water.
Mike lived his faith through his generosity of time and friendship, stewardship of his family and genuine love of others. The legacy he leaves behind is his beautiful family and all the lives he touched.
