Mother was married to our dad, Leon Templin in 1935 in Columbiana, AL. They moved to Birmingham following the war where our dad owned a dry cleaning plant, Templin Cleaners. They attended the following churches, Calvary Baptist, Tenth Ave. Baptist, Ridgecrest Baptist and finally Huffman Assembly that later became Cathedral of The Cross. They were very active in the ministries of all these churches. My dad left mother a widow in 1976. Mother became very active at Cathedral where Bro. Dan Ronsisvallie was pastor, Bro. Mark Correll followed later, mother served as Head Hostess in this church for many years.
Mother's love for people seemed to draw her to make many friends. I'm so grateful that God blessed her as she blessed others. My brother, Mike and I are thankful for a wonderful legacy of love that our mother has left behind. The Holy Spirit has ways of making life full of energy for the gospel sake. My prayer is my mom's life energizes all of us to continue in love to others until we all see Jesus. Thank you again for all you have meant as we shared life together.
Gail and Mike.
