Beloved wife, mother and grandmother, Nanci Kay Pate, passed away on May 28, 2014. She was 71 years old and resided Vestavia Hills, AL. Nanci attended the First Baptist Church of Trussville, where she enjoyed greeting fellow church members. She was a guidance counselor at Tarrant High School for 36 years, where she inspired and encouraged her student's. She was preceded in death by her mother, Jeanette Cutcliff and father, Alan Cutcliff. Nanci Kay is survived by her husband of 50 years, Doug Pate; son, Ronnie (Kelly) Pate; daughter, Angie Pate (Vince) Saia, Jr.; grandchildren, Emily, Ashley and Jessica Pate, Matthew, Abby and Madalyn Saia; aunt, Lillie Mae Hicks. Visitation will be Friday, May 30, 2014 from 11 AM until service time at 1 PM at First Baptist Church of Trussville. Interment will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery.
