Paul Evans Kreider, age 75, passed away suddenly January 13, 2025. He was preceded in death by his parents, Vernon Eugene Kreider, Sr., and Barbara Merritt Kreider; his sister-in-law, Patricia Kreider; and nephew, Timothy Kreider. Paul was a graduate of Ensley High School Class of 1967. After graduation, he worked at U.S. Steel. He was later drafted into the Army and served in the Vietnam War. Paul loved sports of all kinds, but especially fishing.
Paul is survived by his brothers, Vernon Eugene Kreider, Jr., William Earl Kreider (Linda), and Mark Ellington Kreider; numerous nephews and nieces and best friend since childhood and fishing buddy, Don Donaldson.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, January 23, 2025 from 10 am until 11 am at Johns Ridout’s Elmwood Chapel Funeral Home in the Celebration Chapel. A service will follow at 11 am. Paul will be laid to rest with military honors at Alabama National Cemetery in Montevallo, Alabama.
