Paul Sanford Parsons

PARSONS, PAUL SANFORD Paul Sanford Parsons, age 59, of Center Point, was born August 23, 1952 and went home to be with the Lord Monday, January 23, 2012. He was a graduate of Erwin High School, where he was a member of the Erwin Eagle Band; and attended Jacksonville State University where he marched with The Marching Southerners. He enjoyed music, fishing, boat modeling and travel. Mr. Parsons had worked at Baker Dairy, Krispy Kreme Doughnuts, and became the manager of Great American Cookie Company, Trussville in 2000. Preceding him in death was his father, Frank J. Parsons. Left with cherished memories are his mother, Martha Stoehr Parsons; brothers, Frank J. Parsons (Mary) and David O. Parsons (Sharon); seven nieces and nephews, Karen, Amy, Katie, David, Matthew, Aaron and Mary; along with numerous relatives and friends. Visitation will be held Thursday, January 26, 2012 from 12:00-1:00 P.M. followed by a funeral service at 1:00 P.M. at Ridout's Trussville Chapel, 1500 Gadsden Hwy, Trussville, AL. Interment will be in Forest Hill Cemetery. Associate Pastor Joan Pinson, officiating. Memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church of Center Point or UAB Comprehensive Cancer Center's Pancreatic Cancer Fund.
