Pearl Montalbano was born in Quitman, Georgia to Henry E Williams and Maude Cooper in 1926, though she spent most of her life in Alabama. She married Tony Joseph Montalbano at the age of 19 on December 22, 1945. Together, they raised two children, Tony Anthony and Jerry Joseph.
In Pearl’s younger years, she worked as a hairdresser, where she met some of her most beloved friends. She was a member of The Club and the Concordia Beneficial Society where she lived her best life dancing with her husband. She was able to travel to many places, with Italy being her favorite. She enjoyed spending time with her family and treating us to her famous spaghetti and meatballs.
Pearl is preceded in death by her father, Henry and mother, Maude; three brothers, Julian, Jimmy, Layton, and her sister, Annette. She is survived by her sons, Tony (Debbie) and Jerry (Sandra); her sister Tommy; grandchildren, Angie (Heath) Trumbly, Bryon (Jennifer) Montalbano, Stacie Montalbano, and Christopher Montalbano; her great grandchildren, Collin, Emma, Hannah, Haidyn, Hallie, and Henley; and great great grandson, Kyler.
A visitation will be Tuesday August 29 at St. Peter church in Hoover, AL at 10:00am, Mass at 11:00am. Graveside service immediately following Mass at Elmwood cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests making a donation to your favorite charity in Pearl's memory.
