Peggy Muse Edmonds

Mrs. Peggy Muse Edmonds of Mc Calla, Al passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday, January 2, 2021 at the age of 79. She lived with her eldest son, Greg and his wife Lisa Edmonds. She is preceded in death by her parents, Ivey and Grady Muse and husband Charles Edmonds.

Peggy was born in Birmingham, AL on July 31, 1941 to Ivey Wydner Muse and Grady Muse. She was a graduate of Fairfield High School where she made lifelong friends. She went on to study at the University of Montevallo. Peggy was a devoted Christian and an active member of Bellview Baptist Church in Mc Calla. She was a loving mother to her three sons, Greg (Lisa), Kevin (Darlene), and Charles, and an adoring grandmother to 10 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren, all of who are left to cherish her memory. Peggy never met a stranger and made everyone feel welcome. She spent her adult life between Fairfield and Mc Calla, where she read her bible daily, watched lifetime movies, and shopped ‘til she dropped.

A graveside service will be held at Elmwood Cemetery in Birmingham on January 11, 2021 at 2 o’clock. The family would like to thank everyone for helping us celebrate the life of our beloved mother, grandmother and friend. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in her memory.
