Philip Edward Feltham, age 100, passed away on Monday, November 24, 2025, and entered his eternal home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. The son of Sidney and Dorothy Feltham, Philip grew up in Birmingham. He was born and raised in Central Park, attended West End High School, graduated from Birmingham Southern College, and served his country honorably in WWII.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Margaret Green Feltham, with whom he shared a lifetime of love, faith, and family.
Following the war and his return home, Philip married the love of his life, Margaret, beginning a loving partnership that would endure for over 62 years. He spent much of his professional career as comptroller at U.S. Pipe and Foundry, where his integrity and work ethic earned him deep respect.
Philip’s faith was the anchor of his life and an inspiration to his family and those who knew him. A devoted member of Asbury United Methodist Church, he loved to sing his favorite hymns—never shy about lifting his voice for anyone who would listen—and found joy in sharing the music of his heart with others.
In his youth, Philip played baseball, a passion he joyfully passed on to his sons, grandson, and later to his great-grandchildren.
Philip is survived by his sons, David and Dan, along with a loving family who will carry forward his spirit of kindness, humor, and unwavering faith.
He will be deeply missed by all who knew him, but those who loved him take comfort in knowing he is now reunited with Margaret and embraced by his heavenly Father. His life was a testament to faith, love, and service—and his memory will remain a blessing to all. A private graveside service will be held at the Alabama National Cemetery. In place of flowers, the family suggests a donation to Christian Service Mission.
