He was the son of William D. Webb and of the late Evelyn Jones of Birmingham, AL. Phillip was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He attended Pine View Freewill Baptist Church and was a proud member of the 16th Street Baptist Church of Birmingham, AL. Phillip proudly worked as a driver for 7UP, RC, Cola, Dr Pepper, and Snapple Group. He enjoyed all of the people he delivered to. Phillip served as an Executive Chef at various hotels and restaurants.
Phillip is survived by his wife Michelle Maness Webb and children, Phillip M. Webb Jr., Shareta R. Webb, and Elizabeth Webb; one sister, Theresa Baldwin and husband Alonzo; five brothers, William Webb and wife Gracie, Dwight Webb, Donald Webb, Ronnie Webb and wife Patti, and Alphonse Webb and wife Claudette; three grandchildren, many special nieces and nephews.
Visitation will also be held on Saturday, September 8, 2012 at John Ridout's Elmwood Chapel in Birmingham, AL from 1-2 p.m. on Saturday with a service following at 2:00 p.m., and burial to follow at Dynasty Gardens.
