RAYMOND LEO CENCE, age 85 of Odenville, passed away on Sunday, January 28, 2024. He was preceded in death by 5 brothers and 5 sisters. He is survived by his wife, Rose Marie Cence; sons, Tim Cence, Matthew Cence, Doug Cence, David Cence and Ryker Cence (DeLynn); grandchildren, Christopher Cence (Emily), Cynthia McFarland (Zachary), Audrey and Kooper Cence, Levi Cence, Ian Cence, Kady Cence and Isiah Cence (Brooklyn); great-grandchildren, John Fox, Draper, Keilanii, and Chaseli; 2 brothers; 2 sisters; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was born in Elder Township, Pennsylvania and moved to Alabama in 1975. Ray loved the many years he spent coaching his sons in football and baseball. He loved his family, especially spoiling his grandchildren. His family will celebrate his life on Friday, February 2, 2024 from 5-7 at Ridout’s Trussville Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
