Robert Joseph Proctor

19 février 1965 – 14 avril 2025
Avis de décès de Robert Joseph Proctor
AUX SOINS DE

Johns-Ridout's Mortuary-Elmwood Chapel & Elmwood Cemetery & Mausoleum

Robert Proctor - a man whose joy was contagious and whose mission was simple: to spread it everywhere he went. A passionate industrial scale salesman, he poured 100% of his energy and heart into his work every single day, not because he had to, but because he loved what he did.

He was hilarious, lighthearted, and full of life. Known for his quick wit and go-to line - “If I was any better, I’d be you” - he had a way of making everyone laugh and feel like a friend. His presence lit up a room, not by demanding attention, but by offering warmth, laughter, and unwavering kindness.

Outside of work, he found joy in the simple and meaningful: cheering on Michigan and Alabama football, watching baseball, spending time perfecting his yard, and spending time with his kids. He was fiercely devoted to his faith, always seeking out a church home wherever he lived and loving deeply within each community he joined. He loved talking about Jesus, and he lived his life in a way that reflected that love daily.

Despite the cards he was dealt in life, he never let hardship define him. He faced every challenge with a smile and a determination to rise above it - committing to a healthy lifestyle, daily gym visits, and a diet that reflected his desire to beat the odds. He was strong, steady, and endlessly hopeful.

More than anything, he was a father whose love never wavered. He made it his mission to instill morals, compassion, and the love of Christ in his children - and he succeeded completely. If you were one of the lucky ones to know him, you walked away better. He left behind a legacy not just of love, but of joy on purpose - and that’s something worth holding onto.

He is survived by his children: Ashlyn (Autumn Brooke) Caldwell, Ty (Dani) Proctor, and Tamarra (Kate) Howard; his siblings: Johnathan (Pat) Proctor and Barbara Proctor; grandchildren: Monika and Maya Howard; nieces and nephews: Kayla (Shane) Young, Corey Holdbrooks, Kyle Patton, Cyanna Miller, Johnathan Proctor, and Patrick Proctor. He is preceded in death by his parents: DC and Theresa Proctor; mother of his children: Kimberley Phillips; and his sister: Sharon Proctor.

Per his wishes, there will be no public service. A private burial will be held by the family. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in his honor to Grace Klein Community FeedBHM mission. We love you so much, “Super Dad”!
