He is survived by his wife Natalya of Birmingham, Al., brother Charles R. Holmes of Birmingham, Al. Ronald is preceded in death by his Father William Woods Holmes, Mother Clara Nell Holmes.
Ron graduated Ensley High School in 1967, Attended Jefferson State Jr. collage where he received a Nursing degree and Auburn University where he received a BA in psychology and biology.
Before moving to Birmingham in 2022 he and his wife Natalya lived in Lanett, Al. and LaGrange,Ga. While in Lanett he worked at an Orthopedic clinic in Opelika, Al. where He received his SA certification (surgeons assistant) while working under Dr. Wydner's clinic in Opelika, Al.
He and his wife also traveled to San Francisco, Fremont, and Sacramento, Ca. where he practiced nursing.
His Graveside Service will be held at 1:00 PM, Wednesday, December 3, 2025 at Forest Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11:00 a.m. until 12 Noon Wednesday.
