Sally Dubois

DuBois, Sally Hodges, age 86, went to be with the Lord Thursday, August 24, 2011. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Charles P. DuBois; son, Charles H. DuBois; daughter, Martha DuBois Tate ; sisters, Betty Holliman and Nell Duquette.

She is survived by her son, Dr. Lee (Amy) DuBois; daughter, Laura DuBois; grandson, Dr. Eric DuBois; granddaughters, Melissa DuBois and Molly Tate; sisters, Margaret McLain, Chita Johnson and Pat Canada and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mrs. DuBois was born September 6, 1924 and grew up in Ashville Alabama. She graduated from Ashville High School and attended and graduated from Montevallo College for Women. She then devoted her life to being a loving, caring wife and a wonderful devoted mother. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

The family would life to give special thanks and recognition to her devoted and dedicated care givers, Debra Lawrence, Latilsha Burrell, Chiquita White and Deondra Lawrence who lovingly cared for her and treated her as one of their own.

Visitation will be Saturday, August 27, 2011 from 12:30 PM until 2 PM at Ridout’s Trussville Chapel. A graveside service will be held Saturday, August 27, 2011 at 3 PM at Ashville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be made to Ashville Cemetery Perpetual Care Fund P.O. Box 54 Ashville, Alabama 35953 or the Jefferson County Association of Retarded Citizens.
