A 1975 graduate of Hueytown High School, Sandy worked as a bookkeeper for a local law firm for many years. Sandy’s passions brought joy to her life and those around her. She treasured moments at the beach, where many family memories were made. As a young girl, she showed horses, nurturing a lifelong love for animals. She also enjoyed lively evenings playing pool with friends and expressed her creativity through drawing.
Sandy was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd A Penny, and her parents, Floyd and Joyce Lunceford, Sandra is survived by her daughter, Abbey Roy (Denson); grandchildren, Olivia and Keller Roy; and siblings, Gayle Hager (Karl), Gene Lunceford (Mary), and Cynthia McCormick (Rick).
A graveside memorial service will be held at Elmwood Cemetery on July 25, 2025 for family and friends.
