Sarah Frederick Miller passed away on April 21, 2016. Preceded in death by her beloved husband of 62 years, George William Miller and sister Mary Nell Gallant. She is survived by her daughter Jamie Miller Etheridge (Dr. Wayne Etheridge) and son Stephen William Miller (Johanna Taft Miller), four grandchildren Stephanie Etheridge Stern (Matt Stern), Carol Etheridge Cooper (David Cooper), Bradley William Miller (Ann Morey), Wesley Stephen Miller (Jessica Miller), and three great grandchildren.
She was an honors graduate of the University of Miami (FL) with a Bachelor of Education degree. She taught second grade at Blue Lakes Elementary School in Miami for many years.
Visitation will be at Eastside Baptist Church, 558 Gadsden Highway, Birmingham at 1:45 p.m. on Saturday, April 23, 2016. The service will follow at 2:30 p.m. with Dr. Mike Johnson officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Eastside Baptist Church.
