Shirley Jean Ingram, 79, of Birmingham, passed away Sunday. Mrs. Ingram was preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, Charles David Ingram, mother, Pearlean Varden, father, William Varden, brothers, Jerry R. Varden and William Roger Varden, and sister, Betty Anderton. Survivors include her daughter Greta Schrimsher (Jason), beloved grandson, David Jackson Schrimsher, beloved granddaughter Hannah Elizabeth Schrimsher of Huntsville, and dear nephew Scott Anderton of Birmingham. She was a member of Center Point Jehovah's Witnesses. She held firm to the belief of the resurrection through Jesus Christ as promised. She retired from Wachovia Bank. Jean was a fun-loving, compassionate wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She will be missed by all those whose life she touched. Visitation will be Thursday, February 9 from 12:30-2:00 followed by a funeral service at 2:00 at Ridouts Trussville Chapel. Burial will be at Forest Hill Cemetery.
