Shirley Whiteside

Shirley was full of life and would light up a room the moment she walked in. She had a creative and vibrant spirit, contagious smile, and servant heart. To know Shirley was to love her, and she was always willing to pour love back into you. Shirley loved her family and especially spending the holidays when all would gather together. She will be greatly missed by those who adored her.

Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Minnie Lou Bland. She was married to the love of her life, Davis Whiteside. She has one sister, Nancy Perry, one daughter, Cathy W. Brown (Brian) and one niece, Beth Kestner (Jeff). Shirley is survived by her grandchildren, Brittany Roberts (Charlie) and Taylor Brown (Megan) and great grandchildren, Kip Kestner, Rory Roberts, Avy Linn Kestner, Charlotte Brown, and Wren Roberts.

Visitation and receiving of friends will be held on Saturday, September 2, 2023, from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm at Ridout’s Trussville Chapel located at 1500 Gadsden Highway, Trussville, AL 35235.

The family will have a private graveside funeral service.
