Stephen Brian Brand was born on October 19th, 1961 in Birmingham, Alabama. He graduated from Minor High School and UAB. Stephen lived in Forestdale, Alabama until his death on September 18, 2023. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dr. Oliver Brand and Betty Brand. He is survived by his brother David Brand (Grace), his sisters Carol Owings (Bill) and Briann Taylor, his nephew, Daniel Owings (Emily), and his nieces, Shelly Floyd (Brian), Kristen Majors (Tommy), Megan Taylor, Robin Owings (Futa), and Alexandra Taylor. He is also survived by 4 great-nieces and 2 great-nephews and loved all of them dearly. Stephen was very kind and always optimistic about life. He was an animal lover and will be greatly missed by his beloved dog, Pearl. There will be a private graveside service for the family. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to the Birmingham Humane Society in memory of Stephen.
