Steven F. Abbott

Steven graduated from Hewitt Trussville high school in 1981. Steven served and retired from the United States Air Force. He was employed by Allgas Inc. for several years. Steven was an avid Alabama football fan. He loved sci-fi movies and anything involving Marvel comics. He loved his family, especially his nieces. Every year he would take them out for their birthdays.

Steven is preceded in death by his wife, Sharon Abbott; and father, Larry Abbott.

He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Johnnie and Edith Johnston; brother, Tim (Wendy) Abbott; step-brother, Christopher Johnston; nieces, Jamie, Jessie, Sammie Abbott, and Lila Johnston, his fur babies, Dusty and Roscoe and a host of other relatives and friends.

A visitation for Steven will be held Thursday, February 24, 2022, from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Ridout's Trussville Chapel, 1500 Gadsden Hwy, Birmingham, AL 35235. Following the visitation will be a graveside service at 3:00 PM at Jefferson Memorial Gardens East, 1591 Gadsden Hwy, Birmingham, AL 35235.
