Temple Shirley DeRoberts

DeRoberts, Temple Shirley age 78 passed away peacefully on July 3, 2013. She leaves behind her sons, Mark Middlebrooks and Phillip DeRoberts, , numerous cousins and a host of friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clyde and Ruby Shirley. She graduated from Phillips High School and retired from AT&T after many years of service. The family will receive friends at Ridout's Trussville Chapel on Saturday, July 6, 2013 from 10 AM until 11 AM. A graveside service will be held Saturday, July 6, 2013 at 12 Noon at Forest Hill Cemetery. Stinson Carpenter officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Rainbow Omega 100 Hope Drive Eastaboga, AL 36260. Temple will be remembered as a loving mother and friend. Her joy in life was spending time at Rainbow Omega with her son and participating in the center's various activities. She enjoyed her art classes and weekly lunch bunch. She was vivacious, witty and lived life to the fullest. She will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved her.
