Vincent James “Jim” Mikul, age 82 of Birmingham, passed away on January 27, 2025. He was a graduate of Banks High School class of 1961 and later graduated from Jacksonville State in 1965. Jim was a veteran who served as a Marine during the Vietnam War. He was a member of St. Stephens Episcopal Church.
Jim is survived by children, Kenny J. Mikul (Kim), Holly Mikul Payne (Jeff), Andrew D. Mikul (Edi), and Lacey L. Mikul; his three siblings, Phillip Mikul of Atlanta, GA, Diane Cutcliffe of Oneonta, AL, and Danny Mikul of Muscle Shoals, AL; his seven grandchildren, Shelby Mikul, Mason Mikul, Greta Grace Mikul Kuo (Matthew), Austin Waldrop (Mary), Dylan Waldrop, Logan Mikul, and Haley Heavner.
A graveside service for Jim will be held at Elmwood Cemetery on Thursday, January 30th at 1:00 p.m. (for family only). A visitation for friends and family will be held at Ridout’s Trussville Chapel on Thursday, January 30th from 10:30 a.m. until 12:00 p.m.
