BROWN, VIRGINIA, age 90, of Trussville, passed away Monday, July 15, 2013. She is survived by daughters, Doris Praytor, Judy (Michael) Price, Linda (Lucky) Leslie; grandchildren, Calvin Roberson, James Praytor, Darlene (Mike) Coggins, Chris Calvin, Jeremy (Amy) Calvin, Michelle (Jon) Blow, Rhonda (Lance) Howells, Ernie ( Rebecca) Leslie, Clint ( Christy) Leslie; great – grandchildren, Cherish (Dawn) Dendy-Lanz, Joey Smith, Jennifer Roberson, Abby Grace and Wyatt Praytor, Katelyn Calvin, Drew Hyche, Jacob Calvin, Makaylan Blow, Luke Howells, Steven Phillips, Mackenzie, Hailey, Zac & Aubrey Leslie; great great-grandchildren, Jonathan Roberson, Jay, Abbie & Mikey Lanz, Andrea & Bethaney Smith,

Aidan Johnson; sisters, Bea (James) King, Nancy Minyard, Sadie (Clyde) Minyard, Joyce Bice and Elizabeth Massey; brother, Paul Earl Massey; sister-in-laws, Judy and Marie Massey; Long Life Friend, Marie Tucker; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clint Brown; parents Lester and Maggie Massey; sisters, Boots Welch, Myrtle Massey and Rosa Lee Massey; brothers, Henry, Pat, Buck and Lawrence Massey; son in laws, Robert Praytor and Edgar Calvin; and granddaughter, Robin Roberson. Her family will receive friends on Thursday, July 18, 2013 from 6-8 PM at Ridout’s Trussville Chapel. Her service will be at the chapel on Friday, July 19, 2013 beginning at 2 PM with Bro. Rick Hinkle officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Olive Cemetery.
