She was born on September 9, 1940, to the late Earl David and Ina Geneva Sansing. Vivian is also preceded in death by her husband, Bill Compton; her brother, David Sansing; and her sister, Clara Harris.
Left to cherish her memory is her two sons, Jimmy Dale Denney and Tommy DeWayne Denney; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and her brother, Gene A. Sansing.
A visitation will be held at Ridout's Trussville Chapel on Saturday, August 10, 2019, from 12:00 - 1:00 pm with a funeral service beginning at 1:00 pm. Burial will follow at South Cemetery in Blountsville, Alabama.
