Wallace (Wally) Watson

Wallace Watson Jr. ( Wally) age 63 of Hueytown Al, passed away unexpectedly at his home December 22, 2017. He was a devoted Brother, Uncle, Son and friend. He is preceded in death by his parents, Marjorie and Wallace Watson; his sister, Debbie Watson Reynolds. He is survived by his sister, Paige Phillips (Calera, AL), Niece, Tonya (Zack) Lammons, (Jemison, Al) and her children Nephew, Grady Lammons and Niece, Kinsey Lammons. Mr. Watson was born in Hueytown Al. He is a 1972 High School Graduate of Shelby Academy located in Montevallo, Al. After graduation he attended University of Montevallo and has enjoyed strong lifetime ties with many of his college friends over the years. He was a self-employed Real Estate Investor. Wally was an avid Minnesota Vikings fan since the early 70's. He enjoyed reading books and could quote details of history and politics like no other. His sense of humor would brighten anyone's day and was always ready with a joke or a story. The family will honor Wally with a Celebration of Life on Sunday January 7, 2018 from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm at Riverchase United Methodist Church in the "Riverchase Room". The address is 1953 Old Montgomery Hwy, Hoover. Friends and family are encouraged to come by and share stories and experiences of their life with Wally. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested to direct donations to Jimmy Hale Mission or Salvation Army, his preferred charities in memory of Wallace Watson, Jr.
