
William Michael “Mike” Estock, Jr. age 69 of Springville AL passed away on February 12, 2025. He was born on March 12, 1955 to Bill and Dottie Estock. Mike was a native of Birmingham, AL and a graduate of John-Carroll High School and attended Auburn University and joined the Air Force. He retired from the military after over 20 years of service. After retiring from the military, he went to nursing school at Jefferson State and became an RN. He also served as a volunteer firefighter for Pleasant Hill Volunteer Fire Dept.
Mike was an avid Auburn football fan and a season ticket holder for many years. He traveled around the country competing as a competition rifle shooter representing the department of defense.
Mike was preceded in death by his father, William Michael “Bill” Estock, Sr. He is survived by his loving wife, Susan Estock of 29 years; his two daughters, Miranda and Marissa Estock; his mother, Dottie Pate Estock; his sister, Mary Lee Erhart; (Mike); sister-in-law, Patricia McCarty (Alana); five nephews, Stephen Erhart (Fran) and Adam Erhart (Kaitlyn), Terry Allison, Kevin Allison, and Michael Allison; he also leaves behind a great niece and two great nephews and a host of extended family and friends.
Family and friends will gather at Rockco’s Funeral Home in Montevallo on Monday, February 24th from 12:30 p.m. until 1:30 p.m. with a graveside service to follow at 2:00 p.m. at the Alabama National Cemetery in Montevallo where military honors will be rendered. Pastor Derek Deavers will preside over the services.
Pallbearers will be his colleagues and friends from Pleasant Hill Volunteer Fire Department.
