William Grady Hall

.HALL, WILLIAM G Hall, William G. age 89, of Birmingham, Alabama and Baggett Slough, Alabama, passed away Saturday, July 2, 2011 after a short illness. He was retired from Cuthrell Flooring and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was a member of Pumpkin Center Baptist Church and served as deacon and treasurer. He served heroically in the U.S. Army during World War II and was awarded the Bronze Star and the Purple Heart. He is predeceased by his wife Helen Smith Hall and his daughter Sybil Hall. He is survived by his children, William G. Hall, Jr. (Marisha) of Birmingham, Dennis Frederick Hall (Rickie) of Pinson, Lorna Hall Bush (Joe) of Snellville, Georgia, Janice Hall Munson (Gary) of Palatka, Florida and John J Hall, III (Cerethia) of Lanett, Alabama. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and six great grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be Wednesday July 6, 2011 at Ridout's Trussville Chapel at 10:00 A.M. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to service time. Service at the funeral home will be followed by a graveside service at 2:00 P.M. at Pumpkin Center Baptist Church. >
