LEVERETT, WILLIAM LARRY age 71,of Birmingham, Al passed away after a long illness on September 1, 2011. Larry was a 1958 graduate of Woodlawn High School and a veteran of the US Air Force. He was a long time member of the South Avondale Baptist Church. During his life Larry was a private pilot, firefighter, and a truck driver. He had a passion for painting, gardening, and fishing. Larry is survived by his beloved wife of 35 years Carol Leverett, three sisters and a brother. Also, he is survived by his children, grandchildren, and many nephews and nieces. Services will be Saturday, September 3, 2011, at 2:00 PM at Ridout's Trussville Chapel with Visitation 1 hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
