Alida Gillard

Alida was born in Bloomington Indiana on August 14, 2021 to mother Selena Gonzales and father Antonio Gillard. She was a playful child, always running around with her princess dresses and high heels on, calling herself “Princess Lida”. She loved being outside with other kids, going to the park, swimming, and playing in the snow.

Our family was not expecting the loss of Alida or for her life to be cut so short so soon. We are devastated by this loss and will feel the absence of Alida forever. She was full of wonder, love and innocence - teaching us more about life, love and happiness than we could have ever imagined. She will be forever missed.

Alida will always be remembered by her parents, Selena and Antonio and grandmother Debra Gillard. As well as Aunt and Uncle, Maria and Anthony Odey. As well as many cousins and friends.

Visitation services will be held in the chapel of the Day & Deremiah-Frye Funeral Home from 1pm-2pm Tuesday February 25th with the Funeral Service starting at 2pm. Alida will be laid to rest in the Cresthaven Memory Gardens after the service.
