Benjamin Jerold “Jazz” Bolden, age 60, of Bloomington, died Thursday at Bloomington Hospital. Born October 21, 1950 in Piqua, Ohio, he was the son of Benjamin G. Bolden and Shirley Bolden Clemons. He was a Banquet Captain for the Hilton Garden Inn in Bloomington. He was a very spiritual person.
He is survived by his wife, Lynn Young-Bolden, of Bloomington; four daughters, Talia Williams, of Dayton, Ohio, Danielle (Willy) Flournoy, of Newnan, Georgia and Nicole Wells and Jaleesa Wells, both of Bloomington; one son, Jeffrey Bolden, of Dayton, Ohio; four brothers, Craig Clemons, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa and John Keith Bolden, of Ohio, David Bolden of Piqua, Ohio and Frank Lee, of Sidney, Ohio one sister, Karen Payton, of Sidney, Ohio, nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents.
The funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday at the Second Baptist Church with Pastor Bruce Rose officiating. Burial will follow in Clear Creek Cemetery. Friends may visit the family at Day Funeral Home on Sunday from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M.
