Betty Jean Meadows

Betty Jean Meadows, 71, of Bloomington passed away on December 31, 2013 at Hospice House in Bloomington. She was born on April 10, 1942 in Clark County, Indiana to her parents, Kenneth E. Amick and Dorothy Amick.

Betty worked at the RCA plant in Bloomington for several years and was working at Cook Inc when she retired.

She leaves behind her daughter Paulette Meadows of Bloomington and her two sons, Jeff Meadows and his wife Sandra of Sullivan, IL and Tom Meadows of Bloomington.

She also leaves behind grandchildren, Dustin Meadows, Bobby Ratts, Stacie Dixon and Daniel Meadows.

She also leaves behind her great-grandchildren, Malachi, MaKayla, MaKinsey, David, Jr., Emma, Xavier and Hayden.

She leaves behind one sister, Marilyn Fulford of Bloomington and one brother, Donald Amick and his wife Dianne of Ellettsville and several nieces and nephews.

Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lee Meadows, her parents and step father, Ralph Harden. Two brothers Robert Lee Amick and Kenneth J. Amick and Chico her special little puppy.

Friends may call at Day Funeral Home, 4150 E 3rd ST., on Wednesday, January 8, 2014 from 4:00 – 8:00 P.M. Services will be on Thursday, January 9, 2014 in Day Funeral Home at 2:00 P.M. with Pastor Don Griffin officiating. Burial will follow in Payne Cemetery.
