Bonnie Clipp-Anderson

Bonnie Clipp- Anderson was born in Orleans, Indiana on March 30, 1924. The daughter of Vaughn and Faye (Worrell) Clipp. The family moved to Bloomington, Indiana in 1926. Bonnie graduated from University High School in 1942 and attended Indiana University. There she enjoyed being one of the gingerbread children in Hansel and Gretel and a walk-on in costume in the metropolitan opera "Aida". She also sang in the chorus. Bonnie worked in the office at RCA in Indianapolis and Bloomington. Bonnie was married in her parents home to Philip Anderson on Feb 3, 1950. After RCA, Bonnie worked at the IU Foundation for Bill Armstrong. There she met Dr Beck and helped with contributions to Beck Chapel. She also enjoyed the students and little 500.

Bonnie was active in the family business. She loved and appreciated being a member of North Central Church of Christ, Bloomington Hospital, Heritage Society, and Local Council of Women. She volunteered 45 years at Bloomington Hospital. There she enjoyed being with many wonderful volunteers and meeting so many people through the years. Bonnie enjoyed writing poetry for special occasions and playing hymns on the piano. Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents Vaughn and Faye Clipp, her husband Phil, her precious cousins, aunts and uncles. She was an only child so they were very special to her. She is survived by her son, Marc Clipp Anderson (Paula); granddaughters Aimee (Ed) Kelly, and Andrea Anderson; great granddaughter Payton Kelly and great grandson Colten Kelly. Bonnie loved her friends and family. For over 50 years, the Clipp Family met at Spring Mill State Park at the Inn for Thanksgiving. In May, the cousins would enjoy being together in Brown County. Bonnie will be forever remembered and deeply missed.

A public visitation for Bonnie will be held Monday, June 30, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at North Central Church of Christ, 2121 N Dunn St, Bloomington, IN 47408. A public funeral service will occur Monday, June 30, 2025 from 1:00 PM, 2121 N Dunn St, Bloomington, IN 47408. A committal service will occur Monday, June 30, 2025 at Rose Hill Cemetery, 1100 W 4th St, Bloomington, IN 47404.
